Founded in 1965 by the Ursuline Sisters, Kyeni Girls High School began as a humble dream to empower the girl child in Embu and beyond.

The Ursuline Sisters establish Kyeni Girls with a vision of spiritual and academic growth for young women in the Eastern region.

The school achieves National School status, consistently ranking among the top performers in the KCSE examinations.
